I am a Sustainability and Environmental Professional with 9+ years of cross-sector experience spanning ESG, climate action, environmental research, waste management, circular economy, sustainable development, manufacturing, and industrial operations. My work focuses on ESG compliance, environmental and energy management, carbon reduction, GHG accounting, customer sustainability requirements, supplier sustainability, sustainability audits, and performance improvement. Previously, I worked as a Researcher – Environment & Climate Action at Citizen Consumer and Civic Action Group (CAG), where I led climate and environmental policy research, climate communication, circular economy initiatives, capacity building, and stakeholder engagement. I collaborated with Tamil Nadu Climate Change Mission (TNCCM), Department of Environment & Climate Change, Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB) and other stakeholders on climate and environmental programmes. Before CAG, I worked with Saahas Zero Waste, Bengaluru, implementing Zero Waste programmes for corporates, institutions, residential communities, and events. I conducted 35+ waste audits, prepared GHG emission assessments using the EPA WARM Tool, managed biogas and on-site waste-processing systems, developed SOPs, and supported ISO and Zero Waste certification initiatives, including projects for Dell Forum, Flipkart and Bisleri. My earlier experience in manufacturing and infrastructure has given me a strong technical foundation in mechanical systems, process efficiency, quality assurance, project execution, and shop-floor operations. At L&T, I supervised fabrication activities associated with the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant Units 3 & 4. I also gained hands-on manufacturing experience at AquaSub Engineering in pump assembly, machining, TPM and 5S, along with experience in reverse logistics and material recovery at BAAS Enterprises. With a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, I bring together technical engineering knowledge, sustainability expertise, environmental research, and practical implementation experience.
